International Yoga Day Celebration 2026

Nurturing Healthy Bodies, Calm Minds & Joyful Hearts

D.A.V. Baba School, Madipakkam celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm, encouraging our students to embrace fitness, mindfulness, and healthy living.

Our young yogis participated enthusiastically in Surya Namaskar, meditation, and various yoga asanas, developing flexibility, balance, concentration, self-discipline, and body awareness.

The celebration helped students understand that yoga is not just exercise, but a way to create harmony between the body, mind, and emotions.

At D.A.V. Baba School, we believe in learning beyond textbooks and nurturing children into healthy, confident, balanced, and compassionate individuals.

Scouts & Guides Visit

Learning Beyond the Classroom

D.A.V. Baba School, Madipakkam welcomed the Scouts & Guides for an engaging session with students of Classes IX and X.

Through interactive activities, life-skill sessions, and fun games, our students explored the values of teamwork, leadership, discipline, confidence, and responsibility.

A meaningful experience that encouraged our students to learn, lead, and grow! 🌟

Interact Club Installation

D.A.V. BABA School hosted the Interact Club Installation Ceremony in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Nanganallur Elite. The event was graced by Rtn. Dr. Kannan Azhagirisamy, District Secretary, as the Chief Guest. The ceremony marked an inspiring beginning for our young leaders, encouraging them to embrace service, leadership and social responsibility.

80th Independence Day Celebration 2026y

Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom

D.A.V. BABA School, Madipakkam celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15th August 2026 with great pride, patriotism and enthusiasm.

The celebration began with the Flag Hoisting, Flag Song and March Past, followed by a vibrant lineup of patriotic songs, dances, multilingual speeches and poetry presented by our students from Kindergarten to Class IX.

Special highlights included the Karate and Yoga Demonstrations, spectacular Pyramid Formation, and Prize Distribution for the Intra-School Competitions.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a strong sense of pride, unity and love for our nation. 🇮🇳
