9th Annual Sports Meet 2026
Celebrating the Spirit of Sportsmanship
The 9th Annual Sports Meet of D.A.V. BABA School, Madipakkam was held on 6th August 2026, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork and healthy competition.
The event featured a wide range of individual, house and track & field events for students across all age groups. House and group games included Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and 4 × 100 m Relay, along with individual track and field events.
Events Included
Higher Secondary:
100 m & 200 m Running, Shot Put, Long Jump and Back Throw
Primary:
Cone Ball Balancing, Hurdles Race and 75 m Running
Kindergarten:
Frog Jump, Walking Race, Ball Collection and Ring Race
Certificates and prizes were distributed to the winners and participants of the various events. Individual Championship awards were also presented to outstanding performers who excelled across multiple events.
The day began with a spectacular March Past, followed by the Sports Oath Taking Ceremony, Torch Lighting Ceremony and the Declaration of the 9th Annual Sports Meet Open. Students then enthralled the audience with vibrant Tricolour Stick Drill, Dumbbell Drill and Lazium Drill performances before the exciting track events and prize distribution.
It was a memorable day filled with energy, enthusiasm, teamwork and sporting excellence, creating wonderful memories for our students.
